Yesturday we went to Philly. [17 Jan 2009|07:34am] [ mood | tired ] We went to the Franklin Institute to see the Narnia exhibit. If you're not into fantasy geeky Narnia, don't read the rest because I'm one of the biggest Narnia-Nuts that exists. Those movies and books are so well done it's incredible. You actually got to walk through the wardrobe and when it opened, snow was falling(So pretty!). Then inside the actually exhibit there was costumes and models and such.They also had the White Witches throne and it was FREEZING cold, awesome though. They had a wall of ice too, that was supposed to be like the waterfall scene in 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'. The gift shop was small and I was going to buy a print of some concept art for the movie until I found out that it was 300 bucks. Yeesh. We made my grandma walk through the giant heart and I'm pretty sure when we all got out of it we were gunna cry. The space in the heart is like 2 feet wide and all you hear is BA BOOM BA BOOM. Then you get into the Lung part and you hear someone panting. You'd think I'd be used to this stuff from tech but nah. After that we watched open heart surgery on this dummy. You looked down into it and theres a video of a beating heart being operated on. Kinda cool. After that we went and visited my aunt who lives in Philly and then I got some goods from California Tortilla. post comment
